This book has been very good and most of my predictions have been incorrect. I wouldn't really consider my predictions actually predictions but instead, things that I wish will happen. I wished that Tom Robinson would be innocent and I really thought that was going to happen but I was wrong. I knew that something was wrong with Mrs. Dubose and I started assessing it. It never crossed my mind that she was going to die because she was a morphine addict and I was very shocked about that.
From now until the end of the book, I hope that a couple of things will happen. I hope that Jem and Scout, as well as Dill get to meet Boo Radley. They tried so had and were persecuting the poor guy. I don't think that the author would make such a big deal about Boo Radley if the kids wouldn't eventually meet him. I hope that he just walks right out of his front door while the kids are trying to get him out but I doubt that will happen. I think they will run into him and he'll say "Hi Jem and Scout" and they won't know who he is. I think that would be interesting to see the reaction on their faces.
Another think that I hope happens involves Mayella and Bob Ewell. I don't like them and they have caused so much grieve and inconveniences in Maycomb. Atticus proved that it was Bow Ewell who beat up Mayella and I think that the town with eventually consented with me to. I hope that Mayella and Bob know what they got themselves into. To them, they are the smartest people in Maycomb. They allegedly tricked the town into believing them and Atticus proved them wrong. I think that damaged Bob Ewells self esteem and I think that makes the book more exciting. He is trying to get revenge on Atticus and I am waiting for something to happen.
Do you think that any other crazy things are going to happen in Maycomb before the story ends?
